LED Light Therapy has been around for decades NASA used the technology for plant growth experiments on board the Space Shuttle in the 80's.  The serial killer looking face masks have taken Instagram by storm and treat everything from acne to fine lines and dullness.

How does it work?

When used consistently over time LED lights are thought to penetrate your skin at different depths and cause various reactions in the skin such as fighting acne causing bacteria, plumping skin and reducing wrinkles.

The main coloured lights are red and blue. Red light stimulates collagen and blue light kills bacteria that causes acne simple right!!! we also have white light which penetrates the deepest to tighten and brighten the skin.  The treatment is gentle, non-invasive and geared up for all skin types with no down time.

What to expect

Our mask has eight different lights each one has a different reaction to the skin so after a consultation we will decide what light better suits your skins needs.

Its pretty straight forward, first we prepare the skin by cleaning it so that the light can penetrate the skin, we then place the mask onto your face and use the yellow light for two minutes to start, this gets the skin prepared and helps with draining toxins from the skin, we then use the LED light for your skin concerns this light is used for twenty minutes, the mask is then removed and a serum and face cream is applied to your face.

You need to have this done three times a week for one month, once you have completed the course you can have one a month to maintain the skin or have another course it is up to you, you cannot have to many of these treatments.

LED Light Therapy does not make the skin photosensitive so you will be safe in the sun after the treatment, but we do recommend as always to wear SPF in the sun to protect the skin from its damaging rays.

How much does it cost

A one month course is £150 this is three treatments a week for four weeks.

One of maintenance treatment is £20

If you want to book in for a course select the consultation service on the booking system or pop by the shop and have a chat with the guys about it
